Oh, how I love to put on my flannel pajama's and fuzzy socks and make this RAW Hot Cacao for my husband and myself! It just adds such a comfy flare to a late night movie or heart to heart talks! HINT: There is a huge difference in cAcAo and cOcOa! Cacao is the raw form of the cacao bean. Cocoa is the cheap more processed option that has been roasted, alkalized, molded into heated cakes, then the cacao butter/oil is pressed out then powdered. You can buy RAW CACAO at any health food store, or buy online where they offer many great RAW CACAO brands that sell in bulk for much cheaper!

-1 cup of my Homemade Almond Mylk (recipe under the Beverages tab)
-1 tablespoon RAW Cacao powder (you can add another tablespoon if you want it more chocolatey!)
-1 tablespoon agave nectar syrup (honey, stevia, or maple syrup)
- A pinch of cinnamon
-Combine all ingredients in a blender. Then pour into a pot and warm very slowly on the stove. You do not want this to be boiling hot, just warm enough to melt into your favorite chair and snuggle on your cozy socks.
-When your hot cacao is warm enough to your liking, then pour into a pretty cup and saucer and sprinkle a bit more cinnamon on top. Enjoy the aroma, taste, and health of this raw hot cacao!
