Hubby's Veggie Soup

Pure Anthem

MAKES 5-8 SERVINGS

I absolutely love my husband and when he gets sick I just about can't contain myself!  Thankfully it doesn't happen very often, but this past summer he had food poisoning.  He barely could move, he just laid down in agony.  He did not even want to look at food!  So after about two days of just drinking lots of water, He asked for some vegetable soup, and I was so relieved! 

So here is my recipe for MY HUBBY'S VEGETABLE SOUP!  It is simple and basic but great for sensitive tummies! 

Ingredients (All of the ingredients I have listed are just the veggies that I had in the fridge at the time, feel free to use whatever is in your fridge, as well!)

-a medium size pot
-1/2 pot of water (or vegetable broth)
-1/4 of a cabbage, chopped
-2 cups of spinach
-4 medium size carrots, chopped
-4 stocks celery, chopped
-2 potatoes, chopped
-2 garlic cloves, chopped
-2 cups whole grain macaroni noodles
-4 tablespoon of Braggs Amino Liquid (Soy sauce)
-2 tablespoons of lime (or lemon) juice
-1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
1.) Fill up your medium size pot half way!  And put it on the stove and begin heating up to medium heat.

2.)  Add all of the chopped veggies and pour them into the pot!  Add the dashes of Braggs Amino Liquid into the pot, as well! 

3.) Add the noodles to the rest of the soup!  *If your pot looks like it needs a few more dashes of water then add some more!  There is tons of different sizes of "medium pots".  So decided how "soupy" you like your soups!=)

4.)  Turn the temperature down to LOW and let it simmer for as long as you can.  Let the flavors get to know each other for a few minutes before serving!  The longer it simmers, the tastier it will be!

*.) Listen up, Ladies!  This is not a strict guide post to how to make this vegetable soup!  I am honestly trying to open up our kitchen in the form of words and pictures.  Sickly times call for sensational measures and when my husband was sick, I had no time to google search, go to the grocery store, or even get out the measuring spoons!  I just threw in a handful here and a dash there and this is what turned out!  Experiment!  Use your women instincts that the Lord gave us and get in the kitchen and whip something up!
